Instant Invoice Generator for Zoho CRM helps CRM users create professional invoices directly from Contact and Deal records with less manual data entry.
The extension reads available information from the current Zoho CRM record and prefills invoice fields while keeping the invoice fully editable before printing or saving it as a PDF.
What the extension does
From a Zoho CRM Contact or Deal, click Create Invoice to open the invoice generator.
The extension can prefill available information such as:
- Customer name
- Phone
- Company
- Mailing or billing address
- Deal name
- Deal amount
- Currency
You can then review and edit everything before generating the invoice.
Supported Zoho CRM modules
Contacts
The extension can use available Contact information to prefill customer details.
Deals
The extension can use the Deal name and amount to prepare an invoice line item and can retrieve related Contact and Account information when available.
Creating an invoice
- Open a Contact or Deal in Zoho CRM.
- Click Create Invoice.
- Review the information imported from CRM.
- Enter or edit your seller/business details.
- Add, edit, or remove invoice line items.
- Select the required currency.
- Add tax or a discount if required.
- Add notes and payment terms.
- Review the invoice total.
- Click Print / Save PDF.
Your browser’s print dialog can then be used to print the invoice or save it as a PDF.
Invoice calculations
The extension automatically calculates:
- Line amount = Quantity × Rate
- Subtotal = Total of all line items
- Tax amount = Subtotal × Tax percentage
- Grand total = Subtotal + Tax − Discount
Saving business details
Seller/business information can be saved locally so it does not need to be entered every time.
Saved information can include:
- Business name
- Business email
- Business phone
- Business address
- City
- State or region
- Postal code
- Country
This information is saved only in the browser on that device using browser local storage.
Data and privacy
The extension is designed to minimize data transfer.
Customer and Zoho CRM record information used to prepare an invoice is not persistently stored by Instant Invoice Generator and is not automatically transmitted to InstantInvoiceGenerator.com by the extension.
Seller information is stored locally only when the user chooses to save it.
The extension does not contain advertising trackers or analytics pixels.

- SGD
If a supported currency is available on a Zoho CRM Deal, the extension can use it automatically.
Troubleshooting
The Create Invoice button is not visible
Confirm that the extension is installed and that you are viewing a supported Contact or Deal record.
Some customer fields are blank
The extension can only prefill information available in the CRM record. Missing information can be entered manually.
Contact or Account information is missing from a Deal
Related information depends on the Deal having valid Contact or Account relationships and the user having permission to access those records.
PDF is not automatically downloaded
The extension uses the browser’s print functionality. Select Save as PDF from your browser’s print dialog.
My saved business details disappeared
Seller details are stored in browser local storage and are specific to that browser/device. Clearing browser data may remove them.
